Police looking for man suspected in stalking high school students
SANTEE (KUSI) – Police were searching for a man suspected of following Santana High School girls in a pickup truck near the Santee campus on two separate occasions last week.
The teens were followed along Mast Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue. Santana High School Principal Tim Schwuchow said both incidences occurred around 3 p.m., but school officials did not disclose on which days last week they occurred,
Both students described the suspect as a clean-shaven Hispanic or Indian man in his late 20s with a dark complexion. He was wearing a dark T-shirt and a flat-brimmed baseball cap and was driving a white 2000s Chevy pickup truck with a toolbox in the bed.
Schwuchow asked anyone who spots someone around the school matching the suspect’s description to call the sheriff’s department at (619) 956-4000 or a
school resource officer at (619) 956-0274.
