Police searching for College-area groper

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Four women were grabbed and groped on College-area
roadsides over a two-hour period Wednesday, apparently by the same man, according
to San Diego police.

The spree of assaults began shortly before 7 a.m., according to San
Diego police. A fifth woman reported seeing a man matching the description of
the assailant peeping into her living-room window in the same neighborhood,
SDPD public-affairs Lt. Andra Brown said.

The crimes occurred within a several-mile radius, on Alice Street, Faber
Way, Hardy Avenue, Pontiac Street and Trojan Avenue. The perpetrator grabbed
the pedestrians' breasts or buttocks and pushed one of them to the ground,
leaving her with a cut on her foot.

“The (assailant) did not speak to any of the victims and ran away after
the attacks,” Brown said.

The women described him as a 5-foot-10-inch to 6-foot, dark-skinned,
black-haired Latino in his mid-20s to early 30s, wearing dark-colored pants and
a blue shirt or gray hooded sweat shirt. He may have been driving an older-
model white Acura, according to police.
