Police searching for hit-and-run driver in University City

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Two pedestrians were struck by a hit-and-run driver
Friday in University City, police said.

The accident was reported about 6 a.m. at the intersection of Governor
Drive and Stresemann Street, police said.

Officers were on the lookout for the vehicle — possibly a red truck
that headed north after the crash, police said.

The two pedestrians were taken to a hospital, police said.
