Police seek assistance in search of man suspected in Logan Heights shooting

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Police on Friday made surveillance video public in their attempt to help identify a man suspected of shooting four people last month in Logan Heights.

The victims were standing alongside a vehicle parked on South Bancroft Street near Webster Avenue just after 7 p.m. the night of July 18 when the gunman approached them and asked if they belonged to a gang.

The suspect then produced a gun, opened fire, and fled from the scene.

Police have described the gunman as a black man with a light goatee, standing 5 feet 5 and weighing 225 pounds. The recently released surveillance photos showed the suspect just prior to the shooting.
