Police seek information in Orange Glen High School vandalism case
ESCONDIDO (KUSI) – Police on Friday were offering up to $1,000 in reward money for any information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for vandalism on the Orange Glen High School campus.
In addition to a chopped-down tree, several obscenities were spray painted across the school.
Teachers and staffers discovered the vandalism after returning to school following the Memorial Day weekend, although the exact date the vandalism took place was not clear. The tree that was chopped down had been growing on campus for 20 years.
Costs for the erasure of the graffiti and the replacement of the tree have been estimated at $3,400. Those with information were asked to call police at (760)839-4722, or Crime Stoppers at (888)580-8477.
