Police seek public’s help in identifying Lincoln Park shooter

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – San Diego police are seeking the public's help in identifying a killer who gunned down a 26-year-old man in Lincoln Park.

Timothy Bowden was shot several times in the 4700 block of Logan Avenue just before 10:50 p.m. last Tuesday, according to San Diego police. He died in a hospital early the next morning.

At the time of the shooting, Bowden was walking back to a friend's apartment, after going to a grocery store, police said.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. Police so far have released no suspect information.
