Port of San Diego seeking volunteers for San Diego Bay cleanup

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Port of San Diego will host the first #ThatsMyBay Service Day on Thursday, September 20. The Port’s non-essential personnel will spend the day at key locations around the waterfront removing trash and debris to ensure it does not end up in San Diego Bay.

The Port of San Diego would like to invite the community to join in for this clean up event. The Port will supply t-shirts to volunteers on a first come, first-serve basis, while supplies last. All volunteers will be provided with essentials such as gloves and water. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to win prizes, learn more about environmental efforts and join us for a luncheon celebration.
