Possible parking lot coming to Mt.Woodson, Potato Chip Rock

RAMONA (KUSI)- A parking lot may be coming to the popular hiking spots Mount Woodson and Potato Chip Rock.

The County Board of Supervisors has officially set a date to meet on March 27th about whether land should be purchased for the new parking lot.

Hikers in Ramona currently park on the shoulder of the road and are concerned about the dangers.

The Taylor family trust has agreed to sell 84 acres of land valued at 1.7 million dollars.
