Power outage planned in Julian due to power pole repairs

JULIAN (KUSI) – Construction crews will be working in Julian on Wednesday to replace equipment on four poles near the downtown area.

For the safety of the crews, electricity will be turned off from noon to 5 p.m., according to SDG&E.

The planned outage is expected to affect about 1,600 customers.

SDG&E recommends that residents in the area unplug all sensitive electrical equipment prior to the outage.
