Pregnant Honduran woman part of the migrant caravan gives birth in US
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) A Honduran woman, part of the migrant caravan, has given birth in the U.S. after illegally entering the country.
Customs and Border Protection say agents arrested the woman last week near imperial beach after she climbed the wall. The woman was eight months pregnant and was taken to the hospital after complaining of abdominal pain.
She and her family were released from custody pending immigration cases.
The family are seeking asylum and have family in Columbus, Ohio.
