Premiere screening of Shattered Dreams: Sex Trafficking in America

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Palomar College has created a documentary film, Shattered Dreams: Sex Trafficking in America, which sheds light on the realities of the often misunderstood sex trafficking trade.

The documentary includes extensive interviews with women who have spent years as victims of sex trafficking, as well as interviews with experts such as DA Summer Stephan, Attorney General Xavier Becerra, and researchers.

The premiere event for the film is on Thursday April 4 at 7pm in the new Brubeck theater at Palomar College, the school will officially premiere its documentary Shattered Dreams; Sex Trafficking in America before an audience of elected officials, community leaders, the film’s creators, and the public.

The public is invited to attend this event. There is no cost for tickets, which can be reserved on a first come, first served basis.
