President Trump’s legal team begins defense arguments

WASHINGTON D.C. (KUSI) – President Trump’s legal team took the senate floor today to tell their side of the story.

The defense comes after Democrats spent almost 24 hours laying out a detailed prosecution — the arguments they hope will sway some Republican senators in swing states to vote to hear from new witnesses, and potentially for impeachment.

The defense team is looking to make the case for a swift trial and acquittal.
