PREVIEW:
Week 10 of the PPR will feature 8-man football as the (4-3) Ocean View Christian Patriots play host to the (4-4) Borrego Springs Rams in a Citrus League matchup Friday afternoon. The Patriots will hope to improve their 3-1 home record against a very stout Borrego Springs Rams team.
The Rams will lean on their three-headed running attack, headlined by senior running back Justin Lopez. Lopez who leads the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns will hope to expose this tough Patriots defense who have won three out of their past four games.
Stopping Dylan Loewenthal will be the main focus for the Rams defense as the six-foot dual-threat quarterback leads the team in total yards. Loewenthal’s ability to make plays with his feet is one of the main reasons why this Patriots team has had so much success this season.
On the defensive side of the ball watch out for Ocean View Christian’s Isaac Hernandez and Borrego Spring’s Oscar Fuentes as both players headline their defenses respectively.
