Bishops 49, Castle Park 14
Bishops is moving onto the Division 4 Championship Game after they defeated Castle Park 49-14.
It all kicked off with none other than Bulla Graft.
On the first play of the game, the Silver Pigskin Finalist returned the kick-off for 87-yards for the touchdown. Bishops led early 7-0.
The Trojans were able to tie it up when Adrian Tolbert converted on 4th and 11 to set up Jordan Danielson with the quarterback keeper.
The second quarter started off with more Graft. On 4th and 1, Graft was able to explode through the line and go 72-yards for the touchdown. Bishops lead 14-7.
After a Trojan fumble, the Knights were able to capitalize when Griffin Seaman tossed the screen pass to Mozes Mooney who danced his way to a 12-yard touchdown. Bishops extends its lead 21-7.
Before the half ended, Seaman tossed a 28-yard touchdown pass to Graft. Bishops up 42-7.
The Trojans got some momentum going in at the beginning of the second half when Danielson ran for a 75-yard touchdown. Bishops lead now cut to 49-14.
It looked like the Trojans were going to score again after they recovered the onside kick. Unfortunately, a big sack from Jack Allred gave the momentum back to the Knights.
It stayed with the Knights the rest of the game. Graft finished the game with 4 touchdowns and 1 interception.
Bishops will play Mater Dei on next weekend.
