El Camino Wildcats 41, Fallbrook Warriors 7

The El Camino Wildcats (4-3) scored early and often against the over matched Fallbrook Warriors (1-7). In the 1st quarter Demarcus Griffin would get a great block from his teammate Chris Brown and scamper 40 yards for the the touchdown. Later in the 1st quarter, Brown would get the hand off and shake off 3 defenders as he raced 60 yards for the score. That put the Wildcats up 21-0 in the opening quarter. Fallbrook would get on the board when QB Christian Cruz would call his own number and rush 5 yards into the end zone. But that’s all points the Warriors would score. The second half was played with a running clock and El Camino would go on to win the game by a score 41-7. Next up for Fallbrook is a home game against the Valley Center Jaguars. El Camino has big Avocado League matchup on the road against the undefeated Mission Hills Grizzlies.

The El Camino Wildcats (3-3) will face off against the Fallbrook Warriors (1-6) in a non League matchup this Friday night. To say the Warriors have struggled over the last few years is putting it mildly. They are coming off of a 17-0 loss to the Escondido Cougars. Second year Head Coach Darius Pricket is in rebuilding mode and has high hopes for the Warriors going forward.

The Wildcats are coming off 2 straight losses. They are led on offense by RB Chris Brown (No, not that Chris Brown) who is being recruited by several Division 1 colleges. He was held in check in his last game however against La Costa Canyon, only rushing for 13 yards. The Warriors defense will need to copy what LCC did if they want a chance to upset the Wildcats and get their 2nd win of the season.

If you can’t make it out to El Camino for the game Friday night, be sure to watch the highlights of this game and many more on the Prep Pigskin Report on KUSI starting at 10:30pm.
