Week 8 of the PPR travels down to the South Bay, where the (3-3) Hilltop Lancers will have a non-conference matchup against the (4-2) Granite Hills Eagles. This game will be played on a neutral site hosted by Southwestern College at 7:00 pm.
The Eagles head into battle hoping to extend their two-game win streak after beating El Capitan 28-7. Granite Hills is lead by their dual-threat senior quarterback, Jacob Siegfried. Siegfried has accumulated nearly 1300 yards in the first six games and will hope to improve that statistic against a well-coached Hilltop defense.
Granite Hills will have their hands full, as they will face Lancers senior running back, Jeremiah Rivera, who is creeping his way up to the 600-yard mark nearly averaging 6.5 yards per carry. After going past the century mark in two straight games, you can guarantee that stopping the run will be the main point of emphasis for this Lancer defensive front.
