Preview: Mission Hills vs Escondido

The Escondido High Cougars, currently 0-4 host the Mission Hills High Grizzlies, currently 3-1 this Friday night at 7:00pm on their home turf.

The Escondido Cougars have been starting off their season rough, but there is always room for improvement! In every game that the Cougars have played in so far, they’ve managed to put points on the board, thats something not many teams can say! Senior Josh Navarro is speedy, and is a threat to Mission Hills’ defense if he breaks through!

The Mission Hills offense is a well oiled machine. QB Dakota Miller, thinks fast, something that will be a challenge for Escondido’s defense to adjust too. De Chaun Holiday is definitely a player to watch out for, but I promise you wont miss him! In his last game against Poway, not only did he have multiple touchdowns, he even had a pick-6 this is why he is currently a play of the week candidate! But we cant forget about their defense, Ryan Huerta is a dedicated player. In Mission Hills last game against Poway, we see him recover a fumble ball, make several tackles and even leap over a defender in attempt to get to the quarterback
