Preview of the 53rd Annual Borrego Days Desert Festival and Parade

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The 53rd Annual Borrego Days Desert Festival and Parade is coming up on October 20!

Event Coordinator Laurel McFarlane, Dave Regenhardt with Corvette Club Cars, and food vendors Ismael Rodriguez and Judy Stewart dropped by the studio to talk about the cars, food, and other festivities you’ll enjoy at the event.

The free festivities kick-off Saturday, October 20, 10AM-5PM, and go through Sunday, October 21, 10AM-5PM. An all new 30-minute air parade with over 30 vintage and military aircrafts sweeping down Palm Canyon Drive will kick off the festivities at 10 AM. Over 75 outrageous parade entries will strut their stuff down the main street around the beloved Christmas Circle directly after the air parade at 10:30 AM.

Entries include marching bands from our desert sister cities to San Diego County, stunning classic and exotic automobiles, equestrian groups and so much more! After the parade, the celebration continues with live music, delicious food, Kid’s Carnival and more in the Christmas Circle. Over 75 unique vendors and artists offering a variety of handmade goods, beautiful artwork, crafts and tons of delicious food.

There will be an abundance of free parking surrounding Christmas Circle and within walking distance of the Festival. Learn more at https://borregodays.com.
