Christian 55, Ontario Christian 7

The Christian Patriots came into week four ready to dominate like all of the weeks passed! Beating Ontario Christian 55-7. The Patriots now have a 4-0 record while the Knights now have a 1-3 record.

It may have been the two hour bus ride from Ontario to San Diego that made the Knights play a little off tonight, but they didn’t give up throughout the whole game. What seemed as though the referees were in favor of the Patriots, in the end it was a completely fair battle. The Knights had trouble in many areas, having small hiccups throughout the game that made a big impact on the score board. Ontario had many opportunities to score, but they had difficulties completing passes and holding on to the ball. In the third quarter, the Knights frustration got the best of them and they decided to take it out on some of the Patriots players after some plays were already over. This resulted in many penalties, which caused them to play even more off than before and took the last opportunity to win away from them.

Christian however, played very relaxed yet fast tempo, on both sides of the field. The offense was, like always, quick with little to no mistakes, while their defense was crisp and took no mercy. They had their eye on the quarterback the entire time, not letting Ontario even get passed the line of scrimmage. Multiple players took part in sacking the Knights quarterback, so you could definitely say this was a team effort!
