West Hills Wolf Pack 37, Santa Fe Chiefs 14
West Hills Wolf Pack beat out the Santa Fe Chiefs, of Santa Fe Springs, 37-14, as West Hills improved its record to 3-0.
The game started off with a touchdown run by Jordin Young.
After the first touchdown, West Hills boomed a punt down to the 1-yard line where the Chiefs would eventually run a play that would be stuffed for a loss and a safety.
Santa Fe answered back with a 20-yard touchdown run and failed on the conversion attempt to make it 9-6.
After that, it would be mostly West Hills.
The Wolfpack put up 28 unanswered points including a 68-yard touchdown run by Young who ran to the edge and burst down the sideline for the score.
Young passed for an insane 28-yard touchdown that bounced off of a defender’s helmet up into the air, where wide receiver Kole Klingerman would reach around the defender to make the one-handed grab.
Young played exceptionally and finished the game with a total of five touchdowns.
Santa Fe went on to score a garbage-time touchdown in the fourth quarter.
