Torrey Pines Falcons 35, Santa Fe Christian Eagles 17

The Torrey Pines Falcons exacted a measure of revenge by beating the Santa Fe Christian Eagles 35-17. The Falcons were stunned last year by SFC, when the Eagles beat TP 31-0 in the second game of the season.

This time around the Falcons used a balanced attack led by Mac Bingham who finished the game with 3 touchdowns and 150 yards on the ground. Sully O’Brian also got into the end zone for the Falcons, when he gathered in the 52-yard pass from Jason Hines as the Falcons pulled away from SFC in the second half of the games.

Torrey Pines will starts a tough stretch in their schedule as they’ll play four straight games on the road. Next Friday they make the long drive north to take on the Fallbrook Warriors.

The defense will be anchored by 3-year starters Demetri Washington (SLOT-DE) and Luke Sanders (TE-DE).  Torrey will be led by this weeks Mic’d Up Player, Louie Bickett (TE-LB) and QB Jason Heine.
