Tri-City Christian vs. Classical Academy Result

The Tri-City Christian Eagles football team lost Friday’s neutral conference game against Classical Academy by a score of 14-12.

TTonight’sgame centered around a war of defenses. Tri City #7 Joshua Pheneger stopped a Classical Academy drive in Tri City territory and turned the ball around with an interception late in the second quarter. Andrew Reitmeyer threw to Joshua Edington for a nice 30 yard TD pass play bringing Tri City in reach of Classical Academy’s 7-6 lead. Tri City’s reach for a two point conversion was unsuccessful.

The tides turned when teams retired for the half just after an Andrew Mcewin interception and run back for an 80 yard touchdown and successful PAT bringing the score to 14-6.

Warfare continued with defenses in the trenches allowing only one more Tri City score with the game ending at 14-12.

Record as Tri-City Christian (2-6) and Classical Academy (7-1) continue.
