Preview: Westview vs. Rancho Bernardo

Westview took on Rancho Bernardo tonight, although they put up a great fight they just couldn’t beat the Broncos with a final score of 56-20 Rancho Bernardo will go on to win this one making them 4-2 in their season

Rancho Bernardo’s offense was on top of their game tonight scoring 56 points all together! Quarterback Tucker Reed did a good job of organizing his offense so they would have the best potential. Not only did Tyree Range have 4 touchdowns throughout the night he had 19 carries for a total of 216 yards! Other strong offense players for the Broncos include Kameron Calhoun, Devin Goodloe and Jeff Molino who blocked the punt return in the 1st quarter and ran it back 40 yards to start the broncos off! This is definitely play of the week material! Defensively Austin Lucht, Wes Anderson and Devin Dunn all played great!

Westview’s offensive players didn’t disappoint! Tyler Nelson had a great interception in the 1st quarter and he would also go on to score in the 4th quarter for Westview. Tyler Bushouer would be the first to put the Wolverines on the board with a 90 yard touchdown pass in the 1st quarter. Brock Rasor recovered a fumble and also scored for the Wolverines tonight! Defensively the Wolverines couldn’t hold the Broncos but made their best attempts. Ben Ratzlaff and Tyler Nelson are just a few of Westviews players who had great defensive games.

Next week The Broncos take on Escondido High (0-6) for their 2014 Homecoming game as The Wolverines face off against Ramona High (5-1).
