Coalition for Fair Employment in Construction on banning Project labor agreements

SAN DIEGO ( KUSI ) –  A news conference was called after the recent decision by the airport authority who after denying PLA on planned improvements a decade ago, voted to give the latest $3  billion dollar project on Terminal 1 to the unions.

The airport authority caved to pressure, preventing the majority of construction workers from getting in on the job.

It’s why they are demanding the city make it clear on the ballot next year that if voters approve tax increases to fund future projects, the projects cannot go to the PLA.
