Protests at National City City Council Meeting
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Protestors disrupted the fourth consecutive National City City Council meeting earlier tonight.
They’re demanding answers regarding the mysterious death of Earl McNeil.
Protestors are demanding the resignation of the National City Chief of Police and the release of camera footage of the arrest.
NCPD says McNeil was using a telephone outside the police station last may, when he became combative.
Officers took McNeil into custody, and then rushed him to the hospital when they noticed he was having problems- but McNeil never recovered.
Several protesters were restrained and some dragged out of the meeting. They promise to disrupt future meetings until they feel justice is served.
