Public Money!

Monday, May 7, 2012 – A Clairemont man called KUSI's Michael Turko when he got a raw deal from the San Diego Public Library. Turko says after he lost a library item, he had to pay more than double the cost to replace it. Turko contacted the mayor's office and they say they will take a look at the situation- especially the way the library buys items from only one vendor when the same items may be available more cheaply somewhere else. They also point out that the new downtown library is now fully funded.
