Rain and gusty winds to hit San Diego County
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Daytime sprinkles and light rain will make way for heavier showers Thursday as a low pressure system makes its way through most parts of San Diego County.
While most of the deserts will miss out on the rain, high winds reaching speeds of 20 to 30 miles per hour were expected to continue, with gusts reaching up to 45 miles per hour. A wind advisory has been issued for the deserts that is set to expire at 3 a.m. Friday.
Palomar Mountain is expected to get the largest volume, with meteorologists expecting almost 0.7 inches to hit the area.
We will continue to update the weather conditions throughout the day.
