Rally to be held at Twin Peaks Middle School after child was excluded with no school work for not wearing mask

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – There will be a rally held Friday, Feb. 18 on the corners outside of Twin Peaks Middle School for all parents and families who advocate for the freedom to choose whether to mask or not.

On Tuesday Feb. 8th, a sixth grader at a Poway Unified middle school, peacefully, declined to wear a mask in class.

He was then removed from class and isolated without any schoolwork. He excluded from class, lunch, passing period, PE, all school activities. Video Here.

The parents claim that their son “was told he was a danger to others for breathing without a mask”.

On Good Evening San Diego, KUSI’s Logan Bynes talked with Rob & Jessica Reimer and their son Rocky about the protest on Friday as well as the the experienced treatment in the Middle School.
