RAMONA: Man dies three days after vehicle broadsided by pickup

(CNS) – Friends and family Tuesday mourned a 45-year-old man who
died in a hospital, three days after being in a two-vehicle crash in Ramona's
Country Estates.

Gregg Beason of Ramona was driving a full-sized pickup when his vehicle
was T-boned by another pickup at Matlin and Ramona Oaks roads around 7 p.m.
Friday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.

Paramedics took him to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, where he
died shortly before 5 p.m. Monday, the Medical Examiner's Office reported. The
other motorist in the crash also was injured, though the extent of injury was
unclear.

The California Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
