Rancho Bernardo pizza restaurant robbed at gunpoint

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Two employees of a pizza restaurant in Rancho Bernardo were robbed at gunpoint, authorities said today.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken in the robbery at Little Caesars Pizza in the 16400 block of Bernardo Center Drive, San Diego Police Department Officer Robert Heims said.

Heims said the robbers, whose faces were concealed by the hoods on their sweatshirts, entered the restaurant about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, took cash from the business and personal property from the employees.

The first robber was in his late 20s, 6 feet 1, about 185 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes. The second was 25-30 years old and wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue pants, Heims said. Both are black.
