Reason for California’s rising gas prices

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – California’s gas prices are now the highest they’ve been since May of 2014.  Prices have accelerated to $4.18 a gallon, with some Californians paying $5.00 a gallon.

According to AAA, the state’s gas price increase is due to seven of the state’s 25 refineries being either down or at a lower production capacity.

Ron Stein, Ambassador and Founder of Energy and Infrastructure with PTS Advance, was in studio to discuss.
