Wet floors lead to public refunds from Lakers-Warriors preseason NBA game at Valley View Casino Center

San Diego (KUSI) – Those who purchased tickets to Saturday’s NBA preseason game at the Valley View Casino Center were entitled to full refunds Monday.

Valley View Casino Center made the official refund announcement via its Twitter account shortly after the game Saturday:

The contest was forced to end in the third quarter after moist conditions led to the court flooring deemed unsuitable for play. Arena officials later attributed the wet spots to high humidity.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors also sent our notices to their fan bases regarding the refunds:

Starting this year, the Valley View Casino Center became the full-time home to both the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League as well as the San Diego Sockers of the Major Arena Soccer League.

Full refunds can be attained through the original point-of-purchase.
