Regional Housing Needs Assessment to determine units for the growing population

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Every eight years the state of California undergoes a “housing cycle” where they determine how many housing units are needed statewide to accommodate the state’s growing population. This process is known as the Regional Housing Needs Assessment.

Coronado Mayor Richard Bailey and San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones join KUSI with details on Regional Housing Needs Assessment or RHNA.
