Rep. Duncan D. Hunter on North Korea, the border wall and more
Congressmember Duncan D. Hunter (R-San Diego) joined Good Morning San Diego Thursday to discuss recent issues affecting the nation and San Diego County, including the increasing threat from North Korea, the proposed border wall and the Tijuana River sewage problem.
Hunter shared his thoughts President Donald Trump’s first speech to the United Nations General Assembly where he called North Korean leader Kim Jong Un “rocket man” and threatened total destruction on the country if they provoke the United States or its allies.
Hunter also discussed Attorney General Jeff Session’s recent announcement in San Diego that the U.S. Coast Guard had completed a record-breaking year of cocaine seizures.
And he addressed San Diego border issues, like California Attorney General Xavier Becerra’s decision to file a lawsuit against the Trump administration over its plan to build a border wall in San Diego County.
