Report finds California in the bottom for lung cancer screening and treatment

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – California ranks 50th out of 51 reporting states and areas for people eligible to receive lung cancer screening with less than one percent of people being screened, according to the new American Lung Association State of Lung Cancer report which was just released Wednesday.

Dr. Sandip P. Patel, Associate Professor at UCSD, was in studio to talk about the latest findings.
