Republican Party of San Diego County’s Chairman Tony Krvaric launches nonpartisan effort to fix AB 5

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Tony Krvaric, the Chairman of the Republican Party of San Diego County, has been following the impact that AB 5 has had on Californians here in San Diego and across the state.

Tony Krvaric has decided to launch a nonpartisan outreach effort to help the thousands of Californians that Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez-Fletcher’s bill has negatively impacted.

KUSI has been covering AB 5’s impact on freelancers very closely, we have continuously asked for people who have benefited from the law to reach out to share their story on-air, but have not heard from anyone.

On the other hand, we have interviewed and received messages from dozens of people who have lost their ability to earn income because of AB 5.

Krvaric has been tweeting out his concerns with the bill and told us their is so much wrong with it that he is willing to work with non-Republicans to fix AB 5. He doesn’t believe this is a partisan issue, it simply has taken away so many Californians right to work.
