Republican Scott Sherman discusses his mayoral campaign ahead of Super Tuesday

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – It will be one of the most watched local races during tomorrow night’s election: four candidates are vying to replace termed out Mayor Kevin Faulconer.

The three Democratic candidates are State Assemblymember Todd Gloria, Advocate Tasha Williamson and District 1 City Councilmember Barbara Bry.

District 7 City Councilmember Scott Sherman is the lone Republican in the race.

The two candidates who receive the most votes, regardless of party, will advance to the General Election in November.
