Research initiative is dedicated to finding lost works of Franz Kafka
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Franz Kafka’s work is considered to be among the most influential in Western literature.
For the past 40 years, a San Diego State University affiliated research initiative has been working to locate some of Kafka’s unpublished letters and notebooks.
The hunt has take the program director to several countries in Europe and the Middle East, and has even led her to unmarked graves and dust archives.
Kafka Project Director Kathy Diamant was at KUSI to talk about the initiative.
