Restaurant owners in San Diego asking to have outdoor patios for 1 more year

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Time is running out for restaurant owners in San Diego to start dismantling their outdoor patios — unless something changes.

The California Restaurant Association and others are appealing to the governor for one more year, but so far, no action.

KUSI’s Dan Plante was live following this development from Little Italy with all the details.

Plus, Attorney Michael Curran, who represents many of these restaurant owners, joined KUSI’s Paul Rudy on Good Morning San Diego Thursday to explain what is happening from his perspective.
