Rick Willis gets an “Adrenaline Rush”
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Belmont Park in Mission Beach is one of San Diego's premiere tourist attractions, from the Wave House to the Plunge to the "Giant Dipper" Roller Coaster.
Hidden in this hot spot is the Adrenaline Rush. The attraction consists of several athletic attractions to entertain both kids and adults alike.
Look overhead and there is a Zipline that sky's above the park taking you from the south side to the north side to give you that adrenaline rush.
There is also the SkyClimb. A rock climbing wall for all ages and abilities, some call it a real "Cliffhanger".
The attraction that produces the biggest adrenaline rush, is called the "Leap of Faith". You climb 30 feet up in the air before jumping off a platform and grabbing a dummy bag. And on the other side of the platform you jump off attached to only a bungee cord. Some people have been known to walk up, but then decide to walk down instead of jump down.
KUSI Sports Anchor Rick Willis tried all four attractions, with a go pro strapped to his head, the video gives you and idea of what to expect. The Adrenaline rush is also a great way to get the kids and adults up and moving and sweating.
