Right Next Door!
Monday, November 22, 2010 – Homeowners in the Rancho Bernardo neighborhood called KUSI's Michael Turko when they got a raw deal from the city of San Diego. Turko says he city's trying to save money by cutting a vital city service to some of the neighbors, but not others.
It's no secret the city of San Diego is going broke with a seventy million dollar deficit. And they're looking to save money, no matter what it takes. In this case that means treating some taxpayers a lot differently than the rest. The mayor's office is cutting off trash pickup to hundreds of homeowners, but still providing that service to the people who live right next door!
