Wednesday, January 19, 2011 – KUSI's Michael Turko exposes another towing industry scheme that costs drivers big bucks tonight. Turko says they've found a way to charge double or even triple their normal rates, and it's all legal.

When you have a car problem on the freeway, your first concern is getting your car off the freeway. Towing companies know that and take full advantage of it. And when they get called in by the highway patrol, that's all the excuse they need, and their normal towing rates go right out the window!
