Riverside County police chase ends on I-15 in San Diego

SAN DIEGO – A police chase that began in French Valley in Riverside County, ended on Southbound I-15 in San Diego, just North of Mercy Road, on Thursday night.

Authorities reported it was a low-speed pursuit with speeds going as low as five-miles-hour.

The suspect was sought after by Riverside authorities over a suspected carjacking.

The suspect was driving a Dodge Caravan.

Authorities were able to apprehend the suspect.

A Sig Alert was issued for the area, and traffic was diverted to the Fast Track lanes.
