Romantic Valentine’s Dinner Ideas from Chef Deborah Scott

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – They say the way to one’s heart is through the stomach so impress your significant other with a home-cooked meal this Valentine’s Day.

For a truly special feast, Chef Deborah Scott from the Cohn Restaurant Group served up a gourmet entrée including an au poivre filet mignon topped with buffalo mozzarella, basil, oven-roasted tomato and drizzled balsamic reduction.

Then for desert Chef Deb suggests a dark chocolate fondue with an arrangement of dipping foods such as cubed pound cake, strawberries or sliced bananas as well as a bowl of heart-shaped red hots for sprinkling.
