Sacred Heart Parish School to offer prayers of thanks for Coronado law enforcement

CORONADO (KUSI) – The entire student body of Sacred Heart Parish School will join hands to embrace the Coronado Police Department to offer prayers and thanks to the Officers and Staff of the Coronado Police Department and Coronado Fire Department, Friday morning. 

Led by Father Michael Murphy, Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, the students, faculty and staff, will recite a prayer written especially for the occasion.  

Each student created a hand-drawn thank-you card.  

The 450 colorful notecards were assembled into 18 "spiritual bouquets" to be given to the officers after the prayer service.
