Salute to Education scholarship program by San Diego County Ford dealers

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The San Diego County Salute to Education program is a corporate sponsored scholarship program funded by the San Diego County Ford dealers and Ford Motor Company.

Salute to Education’s main purpose is encouraging students to continue their educations, at a technical/vocational school, junior college or university. Grades are not the determining
factor.

This year awarding a minimum of 155 $1,000 scholarships and giving away one new EcoSport, Escape Hybrid, Mustang or Ranger at the Scholarship Announcement Ceremony in April at the Air & Space Museum, according to the organization.

Owner of El Cajon Ford, Paul Dyke, joined Good Morning San Diego to discuss the program.
