Salvation Army collecting donations during Spring cleaning season

Every spring, millions of Americans attempt to declutter their lives – and in the process create huge piles of treasures (gently used and sometimes never used), but they often don’t realize the positive effect of donating them to charity.

By donating to and shopping at The Salvation Army Family Store, you are helping to restore hope for those in need, reunite families, and break the chains of addiction.

The Salvation Army Family Stores benefit The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers (A.R.C). The Adult Rehabilitation Center is a 12-step, work therapy and faith based, residential and transitional rehabilitation program for 130 men and women dealing with alcohol and substance abuse. The 6+ month program is offered to program participants at no cost and our San Diego facility is just 1 in a network of 150 such centers across the US run by The Salvation Army. The program is solely supported by donations made to The Salvation Army which are sold in our thrift stores.

Major Brian West and Carly Grier were in studio with the details.
