Thrifty Thursday at Salvation Army: Shopping tips, unique finds, and outfit planning

Camila Pontes, Fashion Blogger, and Major Iva West, Salvation Army Administrator, visited the studio to share their fashion tips and promote Salvation Army’s affordable, unique shopping experience.

100% of the proceeds made at Salvation Army Thrift Stores directly fund the Adult Rehabilitation Center. By donating to and shopping at The Salvation Army Family Store, you are helping to restore hope for those in need, reunite families, and break the chains of addiction.

The Salvation Army Family Stores benefit The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers (A.R.C). The Adult Rehabilitation Center is a 12-step, work therapy and faith based, residential and transitional rehabilitation program for 130 men and women dealing with alcohol and substance abuse. The 6+ month program is offered to program participants at no cost and the San Diego facility is just 1 in a network of 150 such centers across the US run by The Salvation Army. The program is solely supported by donations made to The Salvation Army which are sold in their thrift stores.
