Sam the Cooking Guy & Not Not Tacos celebrate National Taco Day

LITTLE ITALY (KUSI) – Thursday, September 4, is not not National Taco Day.

To celebrate the special holiday, Sam the Cooking Guy is introducing a new taco at his restaurant, Not Not Tacos. He says it could be his weirdest taco yet, but KUSI’s Allie Wagner was at the Little Italy Food Hall to see the Hot Dog Taco made first hand.

Not Not Tacos is also celebrating the whole month of October with a special Oktoberfest taco! The taco is just about as traditional German-style as you’d expect: warm German potato salad, beer bratwurst, grainy German mustard and braised red cabbage, all in a tortilla. Watch him make it below.

Lastly, Sam made Allie what he calls, the official taco of Little Italy. He showed us how to make the local favorite Eggplant Parmesan taco in the video below.

In this behind the scenes Facebook Live video, Sam the Cooking Guy warns you to not throwaway your leftovers! They can easily become tacos!
