San Diegans celebrate World Down Syndrome Day

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day.

The Down Syndrome Center at Rady Children’s celebrated 15 years of helping patients and their families navigate medical care.

Sharla Hank, president and co-founder of DS Action, joined KUSI’s Hunter Sowards to discuss the significance of the day.
